Statement on RTD Expansion to Grocery and Convenience Stores

"This is truly a historic day for Ready-to-Drink (RTD) beverages made by local Ontario producers, and the changes announced today allowing us to sell in grocery, convenience, and big box stores later this year is absolutely fantastic. The Coalition applauds the Ford government for continuing to support local producers and putting them front and centre in this retail expansion. Devoting shelf space to craft RTD in all existing and new retail channels will give consumers more convenience and access to the amazing Ontario RTD products they love."

-Natasha Fritzley, Chair, Ontario Craft RTD Coalition, an association of 12 local producers who employ more than 1000 people across Ontario in municipalities including Toronto, London, Huron, Muskoka, Niagara, Hamilton and Barrie.
